Celebrating Sanctuary Day

21 June 2026, Queen's Square, Bristol

Join us at one of the highlights of Refugee Week! Celebrating Sanctuary is a joyful, city-wide festival bringing together communities across Bristol. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to represent TFSW at our stall and help share our work with the public.

Responsibilities

  • Host our stall and welcome visitors throughout the day

  • Run activities and engage the public in our work

  • Sell copies of our cookbook and communicate TFSW's mission

Time commitment Flexible short shifts between 12pm and 6pm, with plenty of time to enjoy the celebrations yourself!

25th Anniversary Co-ordinator

Remote, with limited travel to Bristol. Ongoing until 2026.

TFSW turns 25 next year and we want to celebrate in style! We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer event coordinator to help us plan and deliver our main anniversary event, as well as others who want to bring their own ideas to our anniversary working group.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of our main 25th anniversary event

  • Contribute ideas and help bring them to life as part of our working group

  • Collaborate with the TFSW team to ensure everything runs smoothly

Time commitment Flexible, to be agreed with the team. Commitment will increase as we approach the event.
